Foodie beings

"A good Hyderabadi biriyani is the culinary equivalent of stopping to smell the flowers ... everything makes sense. Every time."
Talk about food, and narrow down to the specifics like the one above - then it just isn't about the sense of smell, but all the senses awakening.

The kind of people who drool over food and love everything about it, have a name. Foodie.

I am a foodie.

One, because I live to eat (have not yet figured the art of fasting).

Two, because good food is a reason for one too many excuses.

A movie-based food quote about attending boring parties:
Just to have a good cake, one can literally go to any boring party”
Another movie-based food quote about love:
The right blend for the Suleimani (Arabian black tea with lemon) is complete, only when added with a pinch of love”
Coimbatore-based Sri Krishna sweets has innovated using the foodie psychology behind its 'Mysurpa' success story.

It all started by plain figuring the fact that people love Mysorepak (a hard sweetmeat), the only discomfort in it being a bit hard on the teeth.

Now it would be awesome to have a Mysorepak, but with a  soft with a fudge like avatar. And how about calling it Mysurpa?

The result is something that 'Melts in the mouth'.

Had come across an article about red velvet cakes, and introducing its healthy variant. How about forgetting for a minute about the health part, and adding a choco filled centre to its velvet lustre - in the form of a cupcake.

As a foodie (human) being, am I innovating or just having the culinary equivalent of licking over my own drools?
